Special Note on Downloading
A user has reported that his browser tried to launch NFO
immediately after downloading, but could not find the file, thus,
generating an error message.
What has happened? What
to do about it?
Your browser has successfully downloaded NFO, but it has lost track
of the installer/updater file. So, use Windows Explorer to search for
the file "InstallNFO" or "UpdateNFO" (depending on what you did). When
Explorer locates that
file, note its location, then highlight and copy the found file. Create
a new directory on the C: drive, i.e.,
C:/DownloadNFO/. Go into that new directory and paste the found file.
Then, double clicking on the newly relocated file will launch the
installer/updater. Of course, contact us
if this procedure doesn't work. |
